Book review: Simply Nigella | Nigella Lawson

Title: Simply Nigella

Author: Nigella Lawson

Published: 2015

Good for: When you need inspiration after you've read all your usual go-to cook books for comfort food and homely recipes. Nigella revamps some of the classics while creating some flavoursome and continental inspired combinations. It does stick to the basics when it comes to ingredients ( as the title simply suggests), with most recipes requiring fresh seasonal produce and a well stacked pantry full of herbs, spices and sauces. In typical Nigella fashion, you can hear her heavenly British accent as you read the conversational narrative from the pages.

Must try recipes: Shawarma Chicken- A great dish to make ahead and sure to be a crowd pleaser. The Yoghurt and Tahini sauce is a clever and refreshing accompaniment.
